KB Home's new home neighborhood in Rancho Valencia named Merano is the sister neighborhood to Terra Serena. However, unlike Terra Serena, Merano offers two-car garages as a standard feature. Merano also allows buyers larger homes up to a 1,649 square foot, 3-bedroom (with a 4th bedroom option), 2-bath, single story home. On the smaller side, Merano starts with a 3-bedroom, 2-bath, 2-car garage that is 1,287 square feet. KB Home's Merano new home community allows buyers to buy maximum square footage for the money and lets the buyer decide which additional features they want in their new home. Merano is primarily geared to allow first-time buyers to be able to buy a brand new home, so buyers should not expect a lot of luxury in these homes. The price of these homes does make it very affordable for the first-time buyer to purchase and then add the "must haves" and items they feel are most important.
